Half day dedicated to visiting Capua, walking among noble palaces on the trail of Hannibal in the historic center. Particular attention will be paid to the Museo Archeologico Campano where the most important world collection of Matres Matutae is preserved.

THE ALTER ROME

Half day dedicated to the visit of Santa Maria Capua. Walk in the Roman amphitheater, the largest in Italy of the Colosseum and visit to the Mithraeum. The city saw the spread of the Mithraic cult during the Roman domination perhaps brought by the oriental gladiators usually linked to this cult.

THE LEISURE OF CAPUA

Full day dedicated to visiting Capua and S. Maria Capua Vetere. Walk among noble palaces in the historic center of Capua with a visit to the Museo Archeologico Campano then continuing to S. Maria Capua Vetere where you can admire the second largest Roman amphitheater in Italy and the Mithraeum dating back to the 2nd century AD
