PAESTUM

Visit of about 3 hours between the archaeological area and the museum. The ancient Poseidonia, now Paestum, was one of the richest and most flourishing Greek colonies in southern Italy. We visit the archaeological area with the temples of Hera, Neptune and Athena, and the archaeological museum which, in addition to the precious finds discovered in the area, preserves the famous fresco of the Tomb of the Diver, the only example of Greek painting from Magna Graecia.
